#news is the IRC channel for an online news website called IRC News.
IRC News is a website that gathers news stories and articles from news feeds and user submissions. All news that is posted on the IRC News website is also relayed to #news on MIXXnet. This makes it easy for users on IRC to see stories that would be interesting to them.
